Describe the plant-sitting services you offer
I offer a variety of indoor and outdoor plant care services, including watering, soil-moisture checks, pest and disease inspections, pruning, removing dead or damaged foliage, rotating plants for even sunlight exposure, and general plant maintenance. I can also assist with outdoor garden care, weeding, and basic plant cleanup. If supplies are provided, I can perform fertilizing, repotting, and pest treatments as instructed. I’m happy to provide updates and detailed reports on plant health, completed tasks, and any concerns noticed during visits.
What experience do you have caring for plants?
I have a strong passion for houseplants, with a particular interest in rare aroids and tropical plant varieties. Through caring for my own collection, I’ve developed hands-on experience with plant-specific watering needs, humidity management, lighting requirements, substrate selection, and pest monitoring. I enjoy learning about different species and understanding the conditions that support healthy growth. I’m attentive to detail and take a thoughtful, individualized approach to plant care, recognizing that each plant has unique needs. I understand the value of maintaining a healthy collection, especially when it includes rare or more sensitive specimens, and I’m committed to providing reliable, careful, and personalized care for every plant entrusted to me.
What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?
’m most comfortable caring for tropical houseplants, especially aroids such as Monsteras, Philodendrons, Anthuriums, and Alocasias. I’m also comfortable with common foliage plants, humidity-loving plants, and plants with more specific watering, lighting, and substrate requirements. I’m happy to care for a variety of indoor plants and follow individualized care instructions, including for rarer or more sensitive specimens.
What will you do during a typical visit?
During each visit, I’ll check in on your plants and make sure they’re happy and healthy! I’ll check soil moisture, water as needed, look for signs of pests or stress, remove dead leaves, and rotate plants if needed for even sunlight. I’m also happy to help with light pruning, weeding, and outdoor garden upkeep. If supplies are provided, I can assist with fertilizing, repotting, or other specific care needs. I’ll follow your plants’ individual care instructions and send you updates, photos, and a little report after each visit so you know how everything is doing!
What makes you a reliable plant sitter?
I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and take my responsibilities seriously. Through running my own small business and caring for animals and their environments, I’ve learned the importance of consistency, careful observation, and following specific care routines. I understand that trusting someone with your plants means trusting them with something you’ve invested time, money, and care into. I communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and am happy to provide photo updates and reports after visits so you always know how your plants are doing. I treat every responsibility with the same care and attention I would want someone to give my own plants.
