What experience do you have caring for plants?
Personal experience and light experience in caring for others plants. My personal collection currently stands at around 50+ plants with high variability in species and plant type. I love caring for all the different types of plants so there are hardly any repeat plants in my collection. I have varied experiences with tropical and succulent type plants! I am comfortable with all pets, including reptiles and invertebrates. I am experienced in caring for them all as, aside from my plant babies.., I have some furry, feathered, and scaled friends of my own at home. Additional pet care can be discussed. :)
What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?
Tropicals and succulents in indoor and outdoor containers. Specialty or rare plants can be evaluated on a case by case basis so we make sure you get everything you need from a service!
What will you do during a typical visit?
Each visit is tailored to an individual and their collection’s needs. A routine plant check for soil moisture, watering needs, and fertilizing needs will be done. Additional more thorough checks for pests, fungal, repotting, etc may be done at the request of the client.
What makes you a reliable plant sitter?
My experience with wide variety exhibits my flexibility in working with different plant species. As someone with a history in working in home with children with special needs, I am familiar with building rapport with the people I work with and making sure to adhere to the boundaries of each home as they all operate differently!
