Service Description

Describe the plant-sitting services you offer

I can do in-home watering, moisture checks, etc. I have experience with pruning, repotting, etc. I have also created custom plant-care schedules for busy/overwhelmed owners.

What experience do you have caring for plants?

I have my own collection of 45 house plants. I have kept plants alive for friends on extended vacations. I also create plant-care schedules for others.

What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?

I have worked with everything from orchids to cactus. I have slightly less experience with most plants that are toxic to animals since I am also a pet owner. But I have taken care of toxic plants at others' homes.

What will you do during a typical visit?

Follow instructions left to me and assess plant health in general.

What makes you a reliable plant sitter?

I am a freelance editor, so I have a lot of flexibility. I take meticulous care of my own plants and animals, and I have always extended the same level of care to others' plants and animals.
