What experience do you have caring for plants?
I have several years of hands-on experience caring for houseplants and building my own plant collection. I care for a variety of plants, including pothos, Monsteras, tropical plants, and other indoor greenery. I’m familiar with watering routines, soil moisture, drainage, lighting needs, repotting, propagation, and monitoring plants for signs of stress or pests.
I’ve learned that every plant is different, so I pay attention to their individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all routine. I’m patient, observant, and genuinely enjoy helping plants thrive. I also have experience maintaining plants in different environments and would be happy to follow each owner’s specific care instructions while they’re away.
What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?
Pothos and other trailing plants
* Monsteras and climbing aroids
* Philodendrons, including Pink Princess and Ring of Fire
* Rhaphidophora tetrasperma
* Elephant ears and other tropical foliage
* Snake plants and ZZ plants
* Succulents and cacti
* Peace lilies and other common houseplants
* Plant propagations and plants growing on moss poles
* Herbs and small indoor plants
What will you do during a typical visit?
During a typical visit, I’d check on each plant and make sure it’s doing well. I’d follow the owner’s care instructions, check soil moisture before watering, assess lighting and overall plant health, and remove any dead or yellowing leaves as needed. I’d also look for signs of pests, wilting, or other changes that might need attention. If requested, I can rotate plants, check humidity, and care for propagations or plants growing on moss poles. Before leaving, I’d make sure everything is tidy, note any concerns, and send photo updates so the owner knows how their plant babies are doing. My goal is to keep their plants happy and healthy while giving them peace of mind.
What makes you a reliable plant sitter?
I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about plant care. As a plant collector myself, I understand that every plant has its own needs and that consistency makes a difference. I pay attention to the little details, follow care instructions carefully, and never assume every plant needs the same routine. I believe communication and trust are just as important as knowing how to care for plants, so I’ll keep you updated and let you know if I notice anything unusual. When you trust me with your plants, I’ll treat them and your home with the same care and respect I give my own.
