Describe the plant-sitting services you offer
I offer personalized plant care based on the individual needs of your plants rather than following a one-size-fits-all watering schedule. During visits, I can water and check soil moisture, mist when appropriate, rotate plants, adjust their placement for light or shade, and follow any specific care instructions you provide.
I can also provide basic outdoor plant and garden care, including watering, deadheading, moving potted plants as needed, and harvesting ripe vegetables, herbs, or flowers.
For plants that require a little extra attention, pickup/drop-off care at my home may also be an option. Whether you have a few houseplants or an entire collection, I’m happy to customize visits around exactly what your plants need while you’re away.
What experience do you have caring for plants?
I’ve been surrounded by plants my entire life. Both of my parents were horticulturists, so plant care was simply part of everyday life growing up. I’ve carried that love of plants into my own home and now have a large collection of both indoor and outdoor plants.
I’m especially passionate about houseplants and currently have a particular love for Alocasias, but I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of plants with different light, watering, humidity, and environmental needs. I understand that good plant care isn’t about following a rigid schedule — it’s about paying attention to the individual plant, its soil, and what it’s telling you.
While my experience is primarily personal rather than professional nursery work, plants have genuinely been a lifelong interest of mine, and I’m very
What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?
I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of plants, from tropicals, orchids, and rare or finicky varieties to succulents, herbs, and everyday houseplants. I also have experience with outdoor containers, flowering plants, shrubs, and vegetable gardens. No matter the type, I treat every plant like it’s my own and tailor care to its unique needs.
What will you do during a typical visit?
During each visit, I’ll follow your specific care instructions while also paying attention to what each plant is actually telling me. I’ll check soil moisture before watering, inspect plants for signs of stress, pests, yellowing, or other concerns, and make sure they’re getting the appropriate light and placement. I can rotate plants, mist or wipe leaves, empty drainage trays, deadhead or prune as needed, and complete any other requested care tasks. I’ll also keep you updated so you can relax knowing your plants are being well cared for while you’re away.
What makes you a reliable plant sitter?
I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s plants and home seriously. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and will always follow your specific care instructions rather than assuming every plant needs the same routine.
I’m also genuinely passionate about plants and have a large collection of my own, so I completely understand how nerve-racking it can be to leave them behind when you travel. Every time I go out of town, I worry about what kind of plant carnage I might come home to! My goal is to give you the same peace of mind I would want for myself, knowing that someone who truly cares about plants is looking after yours.
I’m also an experienced Rover sitter with more than 50 five-star reviews, so I’m very accustomed to being trusted in clients’ homes and caring for the things t
