Describe the plant-sitting services you offer
I provide personalized plant care including watering, soil-moisture checks, pest and health inspections, pruning, plant rotation, light adjustments, and general upkeep while you’re away. Care is based on each plant’s individual needs and your instructions.
What experience do you have caring for plants?
I have both professional greenhouse experience and extensive hands-on experience caring for my own collection of houseplants. I regularly work with tropicals, flowering plants, foliage plants, propagation, pest monitoring, watering needs, and general plant health.
What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?
I’m comfortable caring for most common houseplants including tropicals, pothos, philodendrons, monsteras, begonias, alocasias, orchids, African violets, succulents, cacti, foliage plants, and many outdoor container plants.
What will you do during a typical visit?
During each visit, I’ll follow your care instructions while also checking each plant’s soil moisture and overall health before watering. I’ll inspect foliage for pests or signs of stress, remove dead or damaged leaves when appropriate, rotate or reposition plants if needed, and complete any additional agreed-upon care. I’m also happy to provide a quick photo/update so you know how your plants are doing while you’re away.
What makes you a reliable plant sitter?
I understand how important plants can be to their owners, and I treat every plant and home with care and respect. I’m dependable, attentive to changes in plant health, comfortable following detailed care instructions, and committed to communicating if I notice anything concerning.
