Service Description

Describe the plant-sitting services you offer

I provide attentive, individualized plant care based on each plant’s specific needs and the owner’s normal care routine. Services can include watering, checking soil moisture before watering, inspecting leaves and soil for signs of pests or stress, rotating plants for balanced light exposure, light pruning and removal of damaged or dead foliage, misting or humidity care when appropriate, and general plant monitoring. I’m also comfortable following detailed instructions for plants with specialized watering, lighting, or humidity requirements.

What experience do you have caring for plants?

I’m an experienced plant enthusiast with a growing personal collection that includes many different varieties of houseplants. I have hands-on experience with propagation, repotting, soil and substrate selection, pest prevention and treatment, pruning, root care, humidity management, and helping stressed plants recover. I regularly propagate plants from cuttings and corms and enjoy learning the individual needs and growth habits of each species. Plant care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I pay close attention to changes in leaves, soil, roots, and overall plant health.

What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?

I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of indoor plants, including tropical houseplants, philodendrons, pothos, Monsteras, Alocasias, Syngoniums, Aglaonemas, Hoyas, Peperomias, Begonias, ferns, orchids, succulents, bonsai, and many other common and specialty houseplants. I’m also comfortable with propagated plants, plants growing in water or semi-hydro setups, terrarium plants, and plants that require higher humidity or more specialized care. I understand that even plants within the same family can have different needs, so I follow the owner’s established routine whenever possible.

What will you do during a typical visit?

I will follow the plant owner’s care instructions closely while also paying attention to each plant’s individual needs. During each visit, I’ll check soil moisture before watering, water only the plants that need it, inspect leaves, stems, and soil for signs of pests, disease, or stress, and remove dead or damaged foliage when appropriate. I can rotate plants for even light exposure, check humidity needs, and complete any other requested plant-care tasks. I’ll also leave the plant area clean and tidy and communicate any concerns I notice so the owner knows how their plants are doing.

What makes you a reliable plant sitter?

I’m dependable, attentive, and respectful of both your home and your plants. I understand how important a plant collection can be to its owner, so I take following care instructions seriously and never assume every plant needs the same care. I’m observant and will communicate if I notice any changes or concerns with your plants. I’ll arrive as scheduled, complete all requested tasks, keep the plant area clean, and make sure your plants receive the same level of care and attention I would give my own.
