What experience do you have caring for plants?

I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of indoor houseplants. Caring for my own collection has taught me the importance of understanding each plant’s individual needs, checking soil moisture before watering, managing humidity and grow-light exposure, and adjusting care routines based on plant health. I understand that different plants require different approaches, and I take a careful, observant approach to maintaining healthy plants. I’m excited to use this experience to help others keep their houseplants happy and thriving while they’re away.

What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?

Most indoor houseplants and rare or specialized houseplants with specific care instructions

What will you do during a typical visit?

I am committed to carefully following each client’s plant-care instructions and routines. I check soil moisture first before watering to ensure each plant receives the appropriate amount of water. I will use any type of water requested (for example, distilled or filtered for very sensitive plants), as long as this is provided. I will help maintain humidity (monitoring levels and refilling humidifiers as necessary), and provide seasonal fertilizing, pruning, and plant rotation as needed. I keep plant areas clean and tidy, handle each plant with care, and communicate any concerns or changes in plant health to the client after each visit. I’m more than happy to accommodate any specialized care requests or pest maintenance with clear instructions and client-provided materials.

I respect my client’s homes as I do my own, taking care to maintain organization and cleanliness at all times. I rely on clear communication and instructions to ensure all expectations for both general home care and houseplant care are met. I enjoy caring for plants and will do everything I can to ensure they receive the same care and attention my clients would do themselves.
