Describe the plant-sitting services you offer
I’ll make sure your plants are well cared for while you’re away, including watering, checking soil moisture, rotating plants for even sunlight, and keeping an eye out for pests or anything that looks off. I’m also happy to prune plants, care for outdoor plants, and handle other basic plant-care tasks as needed.
What experience do you have caring for plants?
I have a lot of experience caring for plants in my own home and have a pretty large collection with a wide variety of plants. I’ve also cared for plants for family and friends, as well as been hired by friends of friends to plant sit while they’re away. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and adjusting care based on the needs of different plants.
What types of plants are you comfortable caring for?
I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of plants, including tropical houseplants, succulents, cacti, pothos, philodendrons, monsteras, herbs, and outdoor plants. I’m also happy to follow specific care instructions for plants that have more unique or specialized needs.
What will you do during a typical visit?
During each visit, I’ll follow your instructions and routine closely so your plants get the care they’re used to. I’ll check the soil moisture before watering, make sure each plant gets the right amount of water, and look over the leaves and soil for any signs of pests, damage, or other issues. I can also rotate plants, prune as needed, and take care of any other tasks you request. Before I leave, I’ll make sure the area is clean and tidy and that everything is where it should be.
What makes you a reliable plant sitter?
I’m someone who takes plant care seriously and will treat your plants like they’re my own. I pay attention to details, follow instructions carefully, and make sure everything is taken care of before I leave. I’ll also respect your home and keep the plant areas clean and tidy. I know how stressful it can be to leave your plants while you’re away, so I want you to feel confident knowing they’re in good hands.
